NURSERY SCHOOL PUTS ON
THE GREATEST SHOW
The circus came to town last weekend at Meadow Mayhem, the annual summer fundraiser for meadow Nursery School in Wokingham.
Children, friends and family of the Murray Road nursery came in their hundreds on Sunday, May 19, to enjoy the fun of the fayre, and the event raised around £2,500.
Children came in fancy dress and enjoyed a range of attractions including a circus skills area, bouncy castle, rides from Sam the Train and face painting.
They were also treated to a jam-packed afternoon full of entertainment from Creative Eye, including performances from Ted Robinson, Abi Powell, Toxic Sofa and a finale with a special character appearance from The Greatest Showman.
Jo Haskins, fundraising co-ordinator for the nursery, said: “Meadow Mayhem is always a very popular event enjoyed by all the children and their families. We all had a brilliant day, there was lots of fun had with something for the whole family, including the addition of live entertainment from Creative Eye. The funds raised will be used towards creating a new playground area for the children to enjoy.”
